(ACAD, 1.0 credit)
Canada's history is a complex interplay of indigenous cultures, European exploration, colonialism, conflict, and evolution. This course is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of how historical events, cultural interactions, and social transformations have collectively shaped modern Canada. At the core of our exploration lies a fundamental question: How has Canada's history shaped the Canada of today? Students will critically engage with this overarching inquiry as they navigate through distinct periods, different perspectives and examine the forces that have moulded the nation's identity, institutions, and societal values.
